This 1960's property was given a unique, stunning facelift in 2018, and we revisited the property again in 2024 for a secondary, extension to add a little more space. Both phases were designed to create a stunning modern family home, taking inspiration from Huf Haus post and beam architecture with large expanses of glazing.
Dream Family Home in Kenilworth
Our clients originally bought this Farm in 2016, with a vision to create a unique open plan and bespoke contemporary farmhouse with a Manhattan theme throughout the building. We were delighted to be awarded this commission to design a single energy efficient dwelling in a rear garden site adjacent to C S Lewis' former family home. Significant planning and ecological challenges were overcome to allow this self build property to take place, using a central thermal mass core to act as a passive solar gain element to allow the property to be incredibly efficient
Remodelling in Barford
We have recently completed this development for a private client who purchased the property for its stunning location. We carried out a comprehensive remodelling exercise to this 1950's property to extend and improve its thermal efficiency, whilst creating a contemporary solution within this local conservation area.
